Butterscotch Blondies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted 
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed 
- 1 egg, lightly beaten 
- 1 tsp. vanilla 
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder 
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda 
- 1/8 tsp. salt 
- 1 cup flour 
- 1/3 cup butterscotch chips 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and lightly flour a 8x8 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk melted butter with brown sugar until well-combined, then whisk in the baking powder, baking soda, salt, egg and vanilla. Stir in flour and butterscotch chips.
Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread mixture evenly. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out crumb-free, about 25 minutes.
